These terms govern your purchase and use of website templates and related digital products from PolishedSites ("we," "us") at polishedsites.fyi, and participation in our affiliate program. By purchasing or using our products, you agree to these terms.
What you're buying
Our products are digital website templates — code and asset files delivered electronically. When your payment completes, your files are made available for download immediately and a download link is emailed to you. You receive a license to use the template for your own business or, if you are a designer or agency, for a client project. You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense the template files themselves as a competing template product.
Refund policy — all sales are final
Because our products are digital goods delivered instantly, all sales are final and non-refundable. Once your order is completed and the files are made available for download, we are unable to offer a refund, return, or exchange. This is standard for downloadable digital products, where the item cannot be "returned" once delivered. Please review the live demo and the product description carefully before purchasing, and contact us with any questions before you buy.
Exception — defective or undeliverable files. If a file is corrupt, materially incomplete, not as described, or cannot be delivered to you, contact us at orders@polishedsites.fyi within 14 days of purchase. We will first work to fix the problem (for example, by re-sending or repairing the files). If we cannot make the product materially work as described, we will provide a refund for that item.
By completing a purchase you acknowledge that you are buying a digital product, that access is granted immediately, and that you agree to this no-refund policy except as stated above.
Acceptable use
- Use the template for a lawful business or client website.
- Do not resell or redistribute the template files as your own template product.
- Do not use our products for unlawful, deceptive, or infringing content.
Affiliate program terms
These terms apply if you join the PolishedSites affiliate program. Joining is free and subject to our approval.
- Commission. You earn 25% of the sale price (before taxes and fees) on each qualifying sale you refer, one time per sale. Our products are one-time purchases, so commissions are one-time — there is no recurring commission.
- Customer discount. Your personal code gives the customer 30% off, subject to change.
- Attribution. A sale qualifies if the customer uses your personal discount code, or purchases within 60 days of clicking your referral link (last-touch). Where both a code and a link apply, the sale is credited once.
- Holding period. Commissions are held for 30 days after the sale before they are approved for payout, to account for chargebacks or a defective-file refund under the policy above. A sale that is charged back or refunded does not earn commission.
- Payouts. We pay approved commissions monthly, once your approved balance reaches at least $25, by PayPal or Wise. Balances below the threshold roll over. You are responsible for any taxes on your commissions; U.S. affiliates paid over $600 in a year must provide a W-9.
- Not allowed. No self-referrals (buying with your own code), no bidding on "PolishedSites" or confusingly similar terms in paid search, no coupon-scraper or spam sites, and no misleading claims about our products. Violations forfeit unpaid commissions and may end your participation.
- Changes. We may modify commission rates, discounts, or these terms, or end the program, at any time. Material changes will be posted here. Continued participation means you accept the change.
Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Our products are provided "as is," without warranties of any kind except as required by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to a product is limited to the amount you paid for that product.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above.
